Chinese New Year in Le Marais !
Chinese New Year

From January 27 to February 10, celebrate the Chinese New Year in the 3rd arrondissement!

For the last 12 years, the Town Hall of the 3rd arrondissement has hosted its local Chinese community, the oldest in Paris, and organized a New Year celebration as it is the most important traditional Chinese holiday.

This year, we leave behind the year of the water snake and enter the year of the wooden horse. The dragon parade, lion dances and many activities are taking place in the 3rd arrondissement to celebrate this event, giving us the opportunity to discover different aspects of a rich and fascinating culture.

Exhibitions, concerts, conferences, debates, workshops and more will be going on for an entire week. The Mayor of the 3rd and the Festival Committee invite you to come share moments of discovery, entertainment, learning, and fun, all colored by the enchanting hues of China.
